Selling out for Christmas

What a wonderful few months I'm having! I have had several ladies market nights that i have attended and done a fabulous trade. It's nice to have affirming feedback to let me know that what i am doing is 'lovely'.
The best market night so far has been the one a couple of ladies put on at my sons school with a fantastic charity event behind it. They held a 'ladies night in' and raised funds for Breast Cancer Research. One of our beautiful teachers who had had her own personal struggle with the illness last year openly shared her story with the group of women attending on the night and we all came away with a broader knowledge of one mothers journey.
My most amazing sale that night was my school hair tie range that specialised in our schools colours and fabrics. They ate them up and orders are still trickling in, so thanks to my school for the wonderful support!!

Busy times ahead...

Back to school tomorrow and my big boy is going to be missed.

It does however mean, back to the grindstone and time to start creating and making for our up and coming events calendar...what a busy month ahead.

My Cheeky Monkeys will be visiting the Red Hill Fair this month with a showing of all that sparkles and shines as well as any new lines i can come up with in the next 2 weeks. This fair is proving to be a big seller on Fair calendars and from what i hear is a must to visit for all families that want to grab some great buys and see some wonderful entertainment. Visit their site to see what the buzz is really about...

Second (and only a week later) is of course our own Designers Emporium Boutique Market Family Fun Day on August 3rd. This day is also proving to be a day of fun for all in the family - fabulous markets selling some wonderful unique wares as gifts for Mum's, Bub's and Granny, a chance to sample some of the wonderful food on offer in the restaurant and supporting one of my favourite and deserving charities The Royal Children's Hospital Foundation. Come along to grab a bunch of flowers or buy a ticket in the raffle to win an array of prizes kindly donated by the retailers at the market.

So as you can see, i have much to prepare for in the coming weeks.

Stay tuned...
